Title: Intern Supply Chain Cellar Purpose of the Position: The intention is to give practical work experience to students who are in their last year of study and require exposure in a work environment or have a prerequisite to have practical work experience before qualification. Successful interns will be expected to enter into a 12 month contract commencing 01 May 2026 and terminating on 30 June 2027. Key Learning Areas include (but are not limited to): Process Optimisation – improve time and throughput Loss Control – measure and reduce product loss Problem Solving – use Tags, RCFA system to solve problems Verifying and improving work instructions – handling SOP’s Product transfers / blending – producing and processing products Quality Control – ensuring product meets specifications Sampling and analysis – ensuring correct standards are adhered to Savings projects – implementing cost reductions Reporting – capturing readings and analysis Planning – meeting weekly production requirements Production – exposure to different products and work areas To qualify for selection and participation in this programme, candidates must satisfy the following criteria: Excellent academic record and in final year of obtaining tertiary qualification – Engineering diploma Candidates in need of In Service or practical workplace experience. Computer literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint Sound communication and presentation skills; Effective time management; Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure. Ability to work in a team Driver’s License would be beneficial South African citizen; Reliable means of transport Ability to meet deadlines Willingness to work overtime and nightshift if required during week/weekends Be flexible on transport to be able to commute to work. Successful interns will be expected to enter into a 12 month contract.
