1. Acceptance Of Terms

By accessing or using TholaNow (tholanow.co.za), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use this website. TholaNow reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description Of Service

TholaNow is a free job listings aggregation platform that collects and displays job vacancies from publicly available sources across South Africa. These sources include government departments, private company career pages, and established job boards. TholaNow does not create, verify, or endorse any job listing. We are not a recruitment agency, labour broker, or employment service as defined under South African law.

The platform also provides free career resources including CV templates, resume writing guides, and interview preparation content. These resources are offered for general informational purposes and should not be considered professional career counselling.

3. User Responsibilities

When using TholaNow, you agree to:

  • Use the platform only for lawful purposes related to job searching, career development, or community discussion.
  • Not attempt to scrape, copy, or redistribute content from TholaNow in bulk without written permission.
  • Not post spam, offensive content, hate speech, or misleading information in the community forum.
  • Not attempt to circumvent any security measures or interfere with the platform's operation.
  • Verify the legitimacy of any job posting independently before sharing personal documents or making payments.

4. Community Forum Guidelines

The community forum allows anonymous posting to encourage open discussion among job seekers. By participating, you agree to keep discussions respectful and relevant. TholaNow reserves the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines, including but not limited to spam, personal attacks, discriminatory language, and posts promoting illegal activity.

Forum posts represent the views of their authors, not of TholaNow. We do not verify the accuracy of user-generated content and are not responsible for advice or information shared in the forum.

5. Intellectual Property

The TholaNow name, logo, website design, and original content (including career guides and CV templates) are the intellectual property of TholaNow. Job listings displayed on the platform are sourced from third parties and remain the property of their respective publishers.

You may download CV templates for personal use. You may not resell, redistribute, or claim ownership of any TholaNow original content without written permission.

6. Limitation Of Liability

TholaNow provides its services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any job listing or career resource on the platform.

TholaNow shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to losses resulting from applying to fraudulent job postings, reliance on career advice, or inability to access the service.

7. Third-Party Links

TholaNow contains links to external websites, including employer career pages and government portals. We do not control these websites and are not responsible for their content, privacy policies, or practices. Clicking on an external link means you are leaving TholaNow, and you do so at your own risk.

8. Advertising

TholaNow may display advertisements through Google AdSense or other advertising networks. These advertisements are served by third parties and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. TholaNow does not endorse any product or service advertised on the platform. Advertisements are clearly labelled as sponsored content.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, and the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
