Compile/capture advising and or other student-related interaction data on the relevant databases within the GPS@UFS: Track Your Success project (i.e., evaluations/attendance registers, case management system). Distribute, and collect/capture data related documentation related to student tracking and support initiatives (qualitative and quantitative research/data capturing and analyses). Contribute to the research and conceptualisation/refinement of student support services and resources. Develop, deliver/present individual advising and tutoring support. Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives as identified and aligned with the overall GPS@UFS: Track Your Success/success coaching deliverables. Inherent Job Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree or a B-Tech degree on NQF Level 7 (attach a copy). A minimum of one (1) year’s relevant experience as a tutor, student assistant, and teaching assistant and participation in relevant student leadership programmes, etc. The following criteria apply to the selection of potential candidates: The applicant should not currently be participating in an existing learnership/internship programme. The applicant should not have any previous formal work experience. The applicant must be willing to sign a learnership/internship agreement with UFS. The applicant must be available for a period of 1 year to participate in the learnership/internship. Recommendations: Honours degree on NQF Level 8. Knowledge of teaching and learning and student support. Experience in using Microsoft Excel. Good communication skills (verbal).
