Role responsibilities: 

  • Liaise with customers and potential customers on a weekly basis to ensure that they receive excellent and consistent customer service from the relevant Customer Sales Consultant and identify new business opportunities.
  • Development of new business relationships as well as the negotiation and signing of group deals across all divisions.
  • Responsible for the effective on-boarding of new customers.
  • Create and present business proposals for new and existing opportunities to ensure that all relevant stakeholders are involved in the process.
  • Sustain growth within this sector of 40% to 50% by promoting the companies’ solutions to achieve long-term success.
  • Serve as a link of communication between key account customers and the company’s sales teams to resolve problems faced by the customers and deal with complaints to maintain the trust relationship.
  • Liaise with the relevant Managers to ensure that customers’ expectations are fulfilled.
  • Keep up to date with changes and trends in the marketplace as well as the activities of competitors and ensure that the information is discussed with the National Sales Manager at monthly meetings.
  • Organize and arrange specified records and files in order to keep track of sales and financial transactions.
  • Prepare and present monthly reports of progress and forecasts as required by management.
  • Role will require 70% on the road visiting customers, and 30% of office administrative time. 
Job requirements: 
  • Matric or equivalent.
  • 2-year sales’ experience in the industry relevant to providing solutions for customer needs.
  • In the process of completing or a completed Sales or Marketing degree / diploma from an accredited institution will be advantageous.
  • Innovative mindset and thorough understanding of the market and acquiring regional and national accounts.
  • Must have a demonstrated track record of business development, strong negotiation ability and the ability to foster Key Account relationships.
  • Have a creative and innovative approach to problem solving, utilizing our systems, programs, and developing partnership strategies.
  • Self-motivated who has a passion for growing sales success and winning business.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills and demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all levels of the organization internally and externally.
  • A high level of alignment to the company’s corporate values.
  • Detailed oriented with strong analytical ability to work with reports and sales performance metrics.
  • Report writing skills.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Must reside in the region of responsibility or be willing to relocate. (Kempton Park).
