Purpose of the Role: To take hands-on responsibility for payroll administration while providing structured support to the HR Manager and team. This role requires a highly accurate, deadline-driven individual who can work with urgency, follow processes, and take initiative in resolving issues.Key Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:Payroll (Core Focus):Processing payroll inputs including hours, overtime, deductions, and leaveCapturing, reconciling, and verifying wage sheets (Excel) before submissionManaging time and attendance data with a high level of accuracyHandling payroll queries and resolving discrepancies proactivelyAssisting with statutory submissions (EMP201, EMP501, ETI) and payroll reportingEnsuring all payroll information is accurate, checked, and submitted within strict deadlinesHR Administration Support:Managing daily HR administrative tasks in line with operational prioritiesMaintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentationCoordinating recruitment administration and onboarding processesSupporting performance management, training coordination, and compliance processesAssisting with employee relations administration and HR reportingKey Performance Expectations:High level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to work with urgency and meet strict deadlinesStrong numerical and Excel capability (wage sheet reconciliation is critical)Ability to follow SOPs and take clear, structured notesProactive problem-solving and ability to work independentlyClear and professional communication (written and verbal)Ability to manage multiple tasks without compromising qualityCriteria:Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in payroll administration (essential)Proven experience working on a payroll system (non-negotiable)Strong Excel skills (formulas, reconciliation, data accuracy)Sound knowledge of payroll processes and basic labour legislationHigh attention to detail with the ability to self-review work before submissionAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentProfessional communication and good telephone etiquetteFluent in English and AfrikaansAdditional Requirements:Reliable, punctual, and able to meet working hour exp...
